Federico Russo vive a Pisa dal 1995. Dal 2005 è il frontman e principale songwriter del progetto Novadeaf. Dopo un disco di esordio autoprodotto (“The Youth Album”, 2008) ha pubblicato due album con la defunta DreaminGorilla Records di Savona (“Humoresque” nel 2012 e “Carnaval” nel 2015).
